APDL publishes sustainability reports annually since 2006, having been the first Portuguese port to do so at that time.

These reports are prepared according to the GRI Guidelines for Sustainability Reports, developed by the Global Reporting Initiative. They characterize the company's activities and performance in social, economic, and environmental aspects for each calendar year.

The reports aim to be a communication tool with all of the company's stakeholders, integrating the commitments and initiatives undertaken to achieve sustainable development. They also transparently report the impacts caused by port activities and the respective mitigation measures implemented.
