APDL Simulation Center

The APDL Simulation Centre is a facility equipped with advanced technology capable of replicating real-life maneuvers and operations. Acquired through the Douro's Inland Waterway 2020 project with 85% EU co-funding under the CEF - Connecting Europe Facility programme, this centre is equipped with both maritime and terrestrial simulators. It allows APDL to offer a range of training activities based on simulated practice in areas such as river navigation, ship piloting and maneuvering in restricted waters (maritime ports, river ports, and locks), as well as terrestrial operations.
