Fees (in 2011)
The exercising of maritime-tourism activities at the Port of Douro, in the area of jurisdiction of APDL, SA, is subject to the payment of the following fees under the terms of article 5 of these Regulations:
1 - Quays or Berths:
1.1 - Exclusive occupation of quay for mooring vessels (maximum of two)
30,20 € / m of quay/month
1.2 - Berth occupation of the licence holder, for mooring of 2 vessels
454,71 €/Berth/month
2 - Vessels:
2.1 - Vessels carrying out cruises with hotel accommodation, with Tonnage over 400 GRT and without exclusive use of the quay - 1,86 €/TAB/month
2.2 - Vessels that carry out short-duration cruises, without accommodation, with or without meals served on board, and tonnage over 100 GRT and without exclusive right to use the quay - 2,13 €/TAB/month
2.3 - Vessels that carry out short-duration cruises, without accommodation, with or without meals served on board, and tonnage under 100 GRT and without exclusive right to use a private quay - 208,84 €/month
2.4 - Vessels or other floating structures with or without means of propulsion to serve as restaurants, bars or similar - 6,38 € x OL x B/month (OL-Overall Length) (B - beam)
3 - The fees established above may, through decision from the Board of Directors of APDL, SA, be revised on an annual basis, altered on 1 January each year.

Nr 04/02 - Regular Line Service - Request for Classification
Service Order - Series B - 04/02
The Board of Directors, in the meeting held on 07.02.2002, has stated the following:
The reduction of the Port-Ship Usage Tariff foreseen in line b) of no.2 article 10º of the APDL Tariffs Regulations, will be applied under the following conditions.
1. A "Regular Line Service" is understood to mean the service provided by container, reefer, roll-on/roll-off, passenger or general break-bulk cargo vessels that satisfy all the following requirements:
a) The service is run by the same shipowner;
b) The ship calls at the port at least 6 times per calendar year, in accordance with an annual programme, published and communicated in advance to the port authority, which lists the ports that make up the itinerary of the line;
c) The public passenger or cargo transport service is provided for any delivering or receiving customer, at specified freight tariffs, provided that the cargoes are suitable for the type of ship.
2. The request for regular line service classification must be made at the start of the calendar year by filling in the enclosed form (this form must outline the management support application for ports of call). This request must be made by computer.
3. The shipping agent or the line service must provide proof to APDL of compliance with the requirements demanded in no. 1, especially that stipulated in line c).
Service Order no. 05/00, Series B, of 2000.01.10, is hereby revoked.
