The Port Authority of Douro, Leixões and Viana do Castelo, S. A., received a visit from Jeremy Nixon, CEO of ONE – Ocena Network Express

The initiative chaired by Nuno Araújo, Board of Directors of APDL was also attended by representatives of ONE Portugal, namely the Country Head of One Portugal, Isabel Azeredo.

The visit to Port of Leixões had the purpose of presenting  APDL's strategy and future investments, particularly with regard to containerized cargo and its exponential growth.

 

The delegation visited the simulator, the ship coordination center, the port area, the multipurpose terminal and the ongoing project of the breakwater extension.

 

Created in 2017, in Japan, by the integration of the 'K' Line, MOL and NYK, Ocean Network Express has a fleet of 1,505,181 TEU, operating through a fleet of 205 ships, including 35 large ships, such as the largest 20,000 container ships in the world, in a service network that spans more than 120 countries.
