Port of Leixões welcomes Boudicca cruise ship on july 30
The Port of Leixões welcomes once again Boudicca cruise ship owned and operated by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. Boudicca is sailing on its 12 nights "Moorish Morocco & Seductive Spain" round trip from Liverpool, calling the ports of Vigo, Cadiz, Tangier, Gibraltar and Lisbon before visiting Leixões, heading back to Liverpool.
Boudicca was built in 1973 by Wärtsilä Hietalahti shipyard in Helsinki (Finland) and it was fully refitted in 2011. This ship is 205 metres long with 28 388 of gross tonnage and it has the capacity for 926 passengers and 329 crew members.
Like any other Fred. Olsen ship, Boudicca is becoming known for its classically British feel and is a treat for travellers who enjoy small and classic ships in a proper and cosy British setting. For this fact, almost all passengers on board are English.
