Inaugurated in September 2009, the current canteen facilities is a social facility service that is used by various entities of the Port Community of Leixões particularly, Customs, Maritime Police, and port concessionaries.
Every month serves about 2,100 meals, with the monthly average of meals served by type of audience as follows:
