• Evaluate and develop conditions to improve the port's urban integration;

• Implement systems to manage and oversee  environmental impacts, such as noise, air quality and waste;
• Promote cooperation with concessionaires in environmental management;
• Promote effective environmental enforcement activities with all economic agents involved in port operations;
• Promote the reduction of water and energy consumption.

Promote safety activities
 

• Promote and enforce a policy of safety at work throughout the port area;
• Ensure compliance of the safety rules imposed by law or internal regulations, by all service providers hired by the Port Authority;
• Team up with all concessionaires on promoting workplace safety, on behalf of all workers who carry out their activities within the port area;
• Promote, in collaboration with all the others economic agents, training programs in the area of ​​safety.

• Develop motivation at work, monitored through annual survey;
• Promote better working conditions ensuring prospects for progress and professional growth, as well as their well-being and quality of life;
• Drawing up the annual training program, with the active partaking of all employees.

To encourage suppliers and concessionaires to adopt sustainable management principles in order to positively influence the sustainability of the port.

• Adoption of a letter of commitments to sustainable management with concessionaires.
• Influence and aware suppliers to adopt sustainable behaviors in their activity.
• Enforce the safety procedures and environmental protection on the port area, in cooperation with suppliers.
