Porto Cruise Terminal attended the 100% Design 2017, the UK's largest trade show for architects and designers, which took place at Olympia London from 20-23 of September for its 23rd edition. Luís Pedro Silva addressed building construction challenges of this amazing architectural project as the maximum expression of the symbiosis between Ceramics and Architecture.
The new Cruise Terminal of the Port of Leixões has already won some international architecture awards and recognitions such as the AZ AWARD (2016) and the ArchDaily (2017) and it is seen not just as a reference in the application of the ceramic module as a coating material, but also as a unique material for design quality, three-dimensionality, durability and strength.
The 100% Design 2017 presents leading international exhibitors across five sections; Interiors, Workplace, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Design & Build and Emerging Brands.
