The cruise calls at Leixões began on Monday, September 2 with the simultaneous visits of the Club Med of the French company Club Méditerranée and the Nautica of the prestigious American company Oceania Cruises.

During this month 15 cruise ships are expected at Leixões. On the 19th Leixões will be visited by three vessels, one of them in turn-a-round.
In addition to the Discovery and Hamburg, this one in turn-a-round, the Port of Leixões will welcome for the first time the ship Funchal, after its acquisition by the Portuguese company Portuscale Cruises.

Sunday 15 will be a day of celebration with the inaugural call of the Celebrity Infinity from Royal Caribbean. This magnificent ship sailing with about 2,000 passengers and 1,000 crew members will return to Leixões on the 27th one of the four scales schedules for 2013, thus ending the scales of September.
