The Port of Leixões welcomes 3 more cruise ships this weekend, 2 of them are new to the port.

On October 15, our Porto Cruise Terminal will host VENTURA while  HANSEATIC INSPIRATION is visiting the port for the first time docking at our North Cruise Terminal.

VENTURA arrives with almost 3.000 passengers on board, mainly British, as part of her 10-day round trip from Southampton.

This itinerary includes the ports of Santander, Vigo, Lisbon, Leixões and Cherbourg.

This is VENTURA's 10th visit this year to the Port of Leixões and 2 more calls are planned until the end of the year.

VENTURA is operated by  P&O Cruises, is 290 meters long and 116,017 GT.

HANSEATIC INSPIRATION visits us for the first time as part of a 15-day trip from Hamburg to Tenerife.

Before arriving in Leixões, the ship visited Borkum, Zeebrugge, Isle of Wight, Fowey, Douarnenez and Corunha and is scheduled to visit Portimão, Funchal and Deserta Grande.

200 passengers are on board of this ultra-luxurious expedition cruise ship built in 2019 to join the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleet.

As usual on these occasions, a Plaque Exchange Ceremony will be held at the port marking this special occasion.

On October 16 our Porto Cruise Terminal welcomes VIKING VENUS inaugural call.

The ship is on a 14-day one way trip from Bergen to Barcelona visiting Amsterdam, Zeebrugge, Le Havre, Portsmouth, Falmouth, Leixões, Malaga and Cartagena.

VIKING VENUS is the latest in a series of 7 identical ships built for Viking Ocean Cruises that are expected to reach a fleet of 16 cruise ships in the upcoming years.

Launched in 2021, it is 227 meters long by 28 meters wide and has a capacity for around 950 passengers.

As usual, a Plaque Exchange Ceremony will be held at the port marking this special occasion.
