On October 5, the Port of Leixões welcomed Seven Seas Navigator cruise ship for the first time. She is the smallest and the oldest cruise ship from Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet.

Seven Seas Navigator was sailing on its 10 night's voyage from London to Lisbon hosting 490 passengers on board, the majority of them American citizens. Itinerary: London, Dover, Honfleur, Jersey, Saint Nazaire, Bordeux, Gijon, Ferrol, Leixões and Lisbon.

As usual, the Port Authority of Leixões prepared a welcome programme to celebrate the inaugural call of Seven Seas Navigator. An exchange of commemorative plaques with the captain of the ship and port authorities was held on board. Passengers and crew members were welcomed at the Passenger Terminal in Leça da Palmeira with a Port Wine Tasting.
