SILVER SPIRIT made its inaugural call at Leixões on July, 15 with 500 passengers on board, most of them American citizens.

SILVER SPIRIT is a super-luxury cruise ship operated by SILVERSEA CRUISES, a privately owned luxury cruise line. She is on its 11 night's voyage from Lisbon to Rouen also visiting Coruña, Bilbao, St. Jean de Luz, Le Verdon, La Rochelle, St. Malo and Guernsey.

As usual, the Port Authority was welcomed on board by Ship´s Captain Macarone Palmieri Michele for a Plaques Exchange Ceremony, celebrating this first visit at Leixões.

In fact, 2017 is being an excellent year for cruises at Leixões. By the end of the year, 103 cruise ships and over 100.000 passengers will have visited the Port of Leixões.
