CRUISES AT LEIXÕES INCREASED 60% OVER THE SAME PERIOD OF LAST YEAR

 

Until May, the Port of Leixões welcomed almost 30.000 passengers and 31 cruise ship calls, four of them new to the port.

In fact, last May was the busiest month ever for cruises at Leixões with a record-breaking number of 22 cruise calls and 19.481 passengers.

It was also reported an increase of 45% in the size of cruise ships calling the port during this first five months of 2017 .

The Port of Leixões in 2017 will have their busiest ever cruise ship season with over 100.000 passengers and over 100 cruise ship calls.
