The emblematic Port of Leixões Passenger Station welcomed two cruise ships

On June 12 the Port of Leixões welcomes Silver Wind cruise ship at the north cruise terminal

She is on her 17-day trip from Lisbon to Reykjavik (Iceland) with around 200 passengers on board.

This itinerary also includes visits to Spain, France, England, Wales, Scotland and Iceland.

Silver Wind is a small cruise ship (163 m of length) operated by Silversea Cruises, a luxury cruise line. The ship entered service in 1995.

On June 8,  our North Cruise Terminal welcomes Azamara Pursuit cruise ship.

She is on a 10-day voyage from Lisbon to Stockholm and scheduled to visit Leixões, Guernsey, Honfleur, Amsterdam, Kiel, Copenhagen and Visby.

The 592 passengers on board, mainly from the USA, UK and Sweden (also 12 Portuguese nationals standing out) will have the opportunity to visit Porto and the North of Portugal Region during the day.

The Azamara Pursuit has been operated by Azamara Club Cruises since 2018. Until this time she was sailing for P&O Cruises as Adonia.

The ship was built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique at their shipyard in St. Nazaire, France in 2001. Azamara Pursuit is 180 meters long and has capacity for almost 800 passengers.

As Azamara Pursuit, this is the second call at our port. Her debut in Leixões took place in September 2018.
