CCD (Centre for Culture and Sport of Workers from the Port Authority of Douro and Leixões) , is an association of workers of the ports of Douro Leixões and was founded on 28 October 1958.

The CCD /APDL aims to provide workers with the Port Authority and their immediate family members, whether they are in active or retired status, satisfaction of interests related to their well-being, promoting the best use of their leisure time.

The CCD / APDL annually develops actions of cultural, sporting, recreational and social such as:

• Athletics
• Sport Fishing
  These two modes compete for championships organized by the Foundation INATEL.
   
• Indoor Soccer
  This mode participates in unofficial tournaments and has weekly workouts
   
• Choir
  Trials every wednesdays from 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm, participates in concerts both in exchanges with other choirs as invitation.

 

Monthly, organizes a course in nature with walks through some of the Portuguese mountains.

Organizes a summer colony beach at Leca, for the children of its members.

It also organizes a christmas party at APDL.

Has protocols, with special discounts for its members, with various entities (namely, banks, pharmacies, etc ...)
